BEHAVIOUR & TRAINING
My work focuses on helping dogs and their owners develop calm, clear communication through an approach grounded in how dogs naturally learn. I emphasise understanding the dog’s emotional state, body language, and individual needs. When dogs feel safe, understood, and able to process their environment calmly, learning becomes faster, more reliable, and longer lasting.
A central part of my approach is supporting both the dog and the owner in developing awareness and regulation. Dogs are highly sensitive to human tension, posture, and emotional energy. By helping owners become more mindful of their own movement, timing, and responses, we create clearer communication that dogs can easily understand. This leads to reduced stress, improved focus, and more cooperative behaviour in everyday situations.
Training sessions are designed to reflect real-life environments, allowing dogs to practise calm engagement, relaxed walking, and thoughtful responses to everyday challenges. Exercises focus on building attention, confidence, and emotional stability rather than simple obedience. The aim is not only to change behaviour in the moment, but to develop skills that owners can continue using long after the sessions have ended.
My services are suitable for dogs of all ages and backgrounds and are based on a positive, welfare-focused philosophy. By combining behavioural science, natural learning principles, and mindful handling, I aim to support lasting, humane, and practical results that strengthen the relationship between dogs and their owners.
